Products Description

Zirconia Bridge

A zirconia bridge is a permanent fixed dental prosthesis intended to substitute for one or multiple missing teeth. Its main material is zirconia (zirconium dioxide), a high-toughness, biocompatible ceramic extensively adopted in contemporary dental practice.

Basic Structure It comprises three parts: Pontics: Artificial teeth that occupy the space where natural teeth are lost. Retainers / abutments: Crown-shaped units that cap and attach to the patient's natural teeth or dental implants on both sides of the edentulous gap. Connectors: Solid sections linking the pontics and retainers together.

FAQ

Can a zirconia bridge be used for all types of missing teeth?

A zirconia bridge cannot suit every case of missing teeth. It works well for single or several adjacent missing teeth, when there are sound natural teeth or stable implants on both sides to act as abutments.

It is less ideal for very long edentulous spans, heavy bite force, or poor bone/gum conditions. For full-arch tooth loss, implant-supported full-arch restorations are usually recommended instead. A proper clinical assessment is always required before treatment.
