Products Description
Comfortable Authentic Night Guard
A night guard, also called a dental splint or occlusal guard, is a custom-fitted thin hard or soft plastic appliance worn only during sleep. Dentists take dental impressions to make it match your upper or lower teeth perfectly. Its main function is to cushion teeth from grinding and clenching (bruxism), reduce enamel wear, ease jaw joint tension, relieve headaches, tooth soreness and jaw pain caused by overworked masseter muscles. It also protects crowns, veneers and implants from fracture. Simple to clean with toothbrush and cold water, it is an affordable, non-invasive solution for parafunctional nighttime oral habits.

FAQ
Materials of Night Guards
There are four main types of materials clinically used for dental night guards:
1. Soft Silicone / Soft Resin (Most common entry-level option)
Made of medical-grade vinyl soft resin or thermoplastic soft silicone. Pros: Soft to wear, excellent cushioning effect, minimal discomfort for first-time users, budget-friendly. Cons: Prone to puncture and deformation, service life only 3–6 months. Not durable for severe teeth grinders. Best for: Mild bruxism, children and first-time wearers.
2. Dual-layer Composite Material (Cost-effective choice for most cases)
Integrated pressed structure with soft resin inner layer and hard acrylic outer layer. Pros: Inner layer absorbs impact, outer layer resists biting force, balances comfort and durability. Lifespan: Around 1 year. Best for: Moderate bruxism in most adults.
3. Hard Acrylic Resin (Hard occlusal guard, dentist-recommended)
Fabricated from dental-grade polymethyl methacrylate via vacuum thermoforming. Pros: High rigidity, resistant to distortion, allows precise occlusal adjustment. Offers optimal protection for crowns, veneers and dental implants, with a service life of 1.5 to 3 years. Cons: Slight foreign-body sensation at the beginning, requires a short adaptation period. Best for: Severe bruxism, temporomandibular joint discomfort, patients with restorative work like crowns, veneers or implants.
4. Ultra-hard EVA Polymer Thermoformed Sheets (Ultra-thin premium type)
Ultra-thin thermoformed hard sheets with a thickness of 0.8mm to 1.5mm. Pros: Ultra-thin and well-fitted, barely limits mouth opening, minimum occlusal interference. Best for: Sensitive wearers and patients with TMD (temporomandibular disorder) needing delicate occlusal calibration.
