China has become the world's largest denture producer, accounting for nearly 70% of global denture orders, with over 80% of China's denture exports coming from Shenzhen, industry data showed on February 25. The southern tech hub has evolved from a contract manufacturing base into a global center integrating independent branding, domestic sales, and overseas distribution.

Driven by mature digital workflows, skilled technicians, and strict quality control, Shenzhen's denture industry serves dental clinics across North America, Europe, and Oceania. Local labs widely use CAD/CAM and 3D printing to shorten lead times and improve fitting accuracy, supporting high-standard international orders.

In 2026, Shenzhen is launching pilot programs for international community dental health services, aiming to build cross-border oral care networks. These policies will streamline customs clearance, technical certification, and after-sales support for denture exporters.

Industry observers noted that Chinese denture makers are shifting from original equipment manufacturing to branded exports, focusing on premium removable dentures, implant prosthetics, and aesthetic restorations. With growing global aging populations, Shenzhen's role as a global dental prosthetics hub is expected to strengthen, boosting the high-quality development of China's dental export industry.
