Researchers developed a new 3D-printing method for zirconia crowns. The technology cuts manufacturing time dramatically, from many hours to under 30 minutes. In the future, dentists may finish strong, custom zirconia crowns for patients in one single office visit. More clinical testing is still required before wide clinical release.
