U.S.-based additive manufacturing company FUGO Precision 3D has formed a strategic partnership with Graphy Inc., a South Korean material innovation firm, integrating Graphy's shape-memory clear aligner material into FUGO's centrifugal concentric-layer 3D printing platform. The platform enables an automated cycle of printing, washing, drying, and curing. Laboratory tests show it can reduce both turnaround time and labor costs by 90%.
FUGO's Chief Technology Officer stated that this collaboration will raise clinical performance standards and lay the foundation for large-scale precision manufacturing. The related technology is expected to be showcased at the LMT Show in Chicago in 2026.
